Слика Египћана о себи самима, функција конструкције «другог» у слици о себи. састав и порекло локалног становништва.

2. недеља
предавање - Странци у Египту
Насељавање других етничких група у Египту; прокламовани однос према странцима и њихов положај у египатском друштву (топос и мимезис)

3. недеља
предавање - Египат и спољни свет 1
Везе Египта са другим савременим културама

4. недеља
предавање - Египат и спољни свет 2
Ширење елемената египатске материјалне културе и схватања; прихватање страних утицаја.

5. недеља
предавање - Перцепција Египта у европској култури до Напеолеонових освајања.

6. недеља
предавање - Египтологија
Стари Египат као „други“ у научним истраживањима. Критика евроцентричног погледа.

7. недеља
предавање - Египтоманија
Опчињеност Египтом - Египат у новијој европској уметности, архитектури и примењеним уметностима и популарној култури. Проучавање перцепције Египта.
