Course objectives: Preparing candidates for the field of Theory of Art History. Improvement of a comprehensive knowledge of specific areas of scientific research in Art History.

Course description: Review (mapping) of the specific fields of study and research in Art History: History of Ancient Art, Medieval Art History, History of Architecture, Art History of the Modern Period, History of Modern Art, Museology and Heritology, Epistemology of Art History.

Learning Outcomes: Identifying specific, essential and strategic issues of Art History. The student is qualified to decide independently on the desired specific area for further scientific work and selects the topic of PhD thesis.
