The History of Art History (Bachelor’s Degree)

Pre-requisites: No specific requirements.

Course objectives: The goal of the course is to introduce students with the idea of unpredictability of art history, as well as its resources and fundamentals of the particular field of study, and to classify and manage the problems that have been occurring throughout the periods of the development of art.

Course description: The content of the course is designed to stress the most important points and processes within the development of modern art history as the science from the middle of the XVIII century to the early XXI century, also the most prominent and most influential authors, experts, research groups or schools and institutions concerned with a subject of the art history and its scientific, historical, professional and practical elements and issues.

Learning Outcomes: The course is designed to awaken the self-conscious and arouse the self-awareness about the occupation that has its history and possible directions of future development that should be influenced on.
