Pre-requisites: The prerequisite for this course is the attendance to first five semester of a Bachelor’s degree in History of Art.

Course objectives: The goal of the course is to acquire students with knowledge about the development and characteristics in period from the downfall of the Serbian Empire to Great Serb Migrations in 1690.

Course description: The content of the course includes entire review of history of Serbian medieval art since the downfall of Serbian Empire to the Great Serb Migrations in 1690. The practical segment of the course includes introducing students to individual pieces of art via museum practice, Gallery of Frescoes, field on-site work, and electronic data base.

Learning Outcomes: The course is designed to acquire students with knowledge and capabilities to recognize, identify, understand and interpret the pieces of Serbian medieval art created in period from 1371 to 1690.
