Course objectives: Fulfilling knowledge on Roman satire as literary type and its language specifics; enabling for independent scientific work in that field.

Course description: Depending on interest of the student on Phd studies, one of the authors of the Roman satire is read or two are comparatively studied; literary types are being studied which are sources for Roman satire, its language registers, its stylistic and thematic (motive) polyvalence.

Learning Outcomes: The ability to apply acquired knowledge on writing the thesis and further scientific work.
