Pre-requisites: Passed exams in History of the Early Middle Ages and History of the Late Middle Ages.
Course objectives: Acquiring knowledge of the basic flow of events in political, social and economic history of the Central Mediterranean region in the late middle ages (14th-15th century).
Course description: Italian urban city-states in the 14th and 15th century: Venice, Genoa, and Florence; the kingdom of Naples and the Anjou in Southern Italy; Italian city-states in the Levant and southeastern Europe.
Learning Outcomes: knowledge of the basic flow of events in political, social and economic history of the Central Mediterranean region in the late middle ages (14th-15th century).
