Pre-requisites: General requirements for the module of "Medieval Studies". Knowledge of the latin language and at least two european languages.

Course objectives: To gain knowledge of the events behind the Migration period and the creation of the germanic and slavic territories in Europe(4th-7thc century).

Course description: Crisis of the Late Roman Empire. Christianity. Migrations of the Goths, Vandals, Francs, Anglosaxons, Burgundians, Huns, Avars and Slavs. Inception of germanic and slavic european territories(4th-7th century).

Learning Outcomes: Knowledge of the events behind the Migration period and the creation of the germanic and slavic territories in Europe(4th-7thc century).
