Course objectives: Training students for understanding the Europe as a learning society, for functioning in educational space of Europe and for working on European projects.

Course description: Theoretical course: European Union – structure, functioning and jurisdiction. European commission – structure, functioning and jurisdiction. Institutions, agencies and organizations of EU relevant to education. European funds for educational support. Projects of EU: programme and administrative standards. Classic programmes of EU for educational support. Regional and transnational programmes of EU for educational support. Practical course: PCM – project cycle management. Project partnership. Project planning – European models. Phases of project implementation. Monitoring and project evaluation.

Learning Outcomes: Student will: - Know the values and characteristics of Europe as a learning society – Be familiar with the particularities of work in adult education in European institutions – Be trained to work on educational problems in European bodies and on European projects.
