Course objectives: Acquisition of knowledge about the basic theoretical assumptions of carrier management and their understanding, and development of skills for using some of the techniques and software in the field of carrier management.

Course description: Theoretical course: The origin and development of professional orientation as organized social activity; Theories of professional orientation; Adult educational professional orientation (concept, goal, tasks, strategies); The concept, characteristics and forms of carrier; Carrier development through entire life; Techniques of carrier management; Educational interventions in carrier management; Practical course: Techniques of carrier management; Active job-search programmes.

Learning Outcomes: Student will: - know some of the basic theories of professional orientation; - understand the basic theoretical assumptions of carrier management; - know to use some of the basic techniques in carrier management and to realize different segments of active job-search programmes.
