Course objectives: Training for critical analysis and application of the management and leadership theories in education of adults, for research of the management and leadership problems and for implementation of the research results in the adult educational practice.

Course description: Theoretical course • Scientific approach to management and leadership phenomena (economical, psychological, cultural, philosophical, andragogical,...) • Management and leadership in the context of theory and practice of adult education; • Research trends in the field of management and leadership; • The use of modern management paradigms in the field of adult education; • Continuous education of managers and leaders as a contribution to professionalization of management in adult education. Practical course • Management and leadership problems in adult educational practice as research problems and ways of solving these problems; • the possibilities of the use of modern management paradigms in education of adults; • How to “create“ leaders in education of adults (institution / organisation as a leader; person as a leader).

Learning Outcomes: Student: - understands the possibilities of applying the management and leadership theories in education of adults; - researches the problems of management and leadership in education; - applies management paradigms in the field of education; - creates systematic solutions for education of managers and leaders.
