Course objectives: Acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for scientific-research work and designing of development in the domain of vocational education of adults from national level to the level of particular user of educational services.

Course description: Theoretical course: Globalization and modern trends on labour market; Economy of knowledge – the idea and the concept; Modern work organization; Characteristics of occupations and jobs in modern society; Newer research of work in relation to education of adults; Working-professional life of man – phases and characteristics. Practical course: Trends analysis on labour market; Projections of needs for vocational education based on analysis of labour market (local level); Analysis of occupations and jobs and projection of needs for vocational education; Working-professional life of man and projections of needs for vocational education.

Learning Outcomes: Students know to design and conduct research of different problems connected to the market of labour, companies, work of an individual, related to vocational education of adults, and to design the development of vocational education according to research results.
