Course objectives: Introduction into the concept of ecological andragogy and with opportunities for exploring and implementation of it in overcoming barriers and optimization of learning potentials in different environments.

Course description: Theoretical segment: Concept and focus of ecological andragogy. Theoretical models of interactions between human and environment. Natural, social, cultural and psychological dimensions of environment and learning. Perspectives and potentials of natural, local, working environments for learning. Local environment as an factor of adults' participation in learning. Education and reduction of risks and disaster management in local community. Sustainability, lifestyles and learning and education of adults. Practical part: Implementation of ecological analysis in this context. Selection and analysis of the research problem in the field. Preparation and design of the research. Analysis and reporting on the results, discussion from the perspective of ecological andragogy.

Learning Outcomes: Recognized value of integrative approach to environment as the system of learning networks for adults. Improved knowledge and skills for researching and analysis of perspectives and interactions between individuals, groups and environment from andragogical perspective.
