Pre-requisites: Completed undergraduate studies in history; regular class attendance and fulfillment of academic obligations.

Course objectives: Deepening and expanding knowledge from undergraduate studies in history and cultivating student's ability to critically evaluate sources and texts.

Course description: Theoretical component: Through lectures, this course addresses various types of elites that were present in Yugoslavia - political, intellectual, economic, military and religious, along with their relationship to Yugoslavia as a country, understanding it's multilateral problems, structuring ideas, contributing to creating a local political climate, influence, issues of responsibility, participation during crises. Practical component: enabling students to independently locate historical sources, analyze and evaluate, develop critical thinking and be ready to present their knowledge and findings in written and oral form.

Learning Outcomes: Adopting a critical stance to previous knowledge and identifying unresearched problems, as well as theoretically-methodologically envisioning new ways or research, writing papers.
