Course objectives: For students to learn about archaeological specifics of Slavs in the 9th and 10th centuries in specific regions, while studying the available literature regarding finds, types of settlements, and other inhabitable buildings, cemeteries, and fortified towns.

Course description: Students will be introduced to the Slavic culture during Christianization, emergence of new countries and economic growth.

Learning Outcomes: Practical work and oral exam.
